Historic Pleasanton Farmhouse
It was a pleasure to work with this couple to reinvent their historic farmhouse, making it into a comfortable family home. As the house was on the Historic Register, it was important to keep the original facade, windows and rooflines. Cooking and entertaining were central to the couple's lifestyle. A new light-filled kitchen, inspired by the farmhouse vernacular, opens the space to the dining and great room, which easily accommodates large gatherings.
