Process:  Remodeling a home starts from fully understanding a client’s needs and objectives. I listen. I ask questions. Your vision guides my process, helping me interpret function and aesthetics, the keys to successful design. I pay attention to the details: the patterns of movement and light, gathering places versus intimate spaces, the nuances of the site, the intimate details and overall quality, and finally, the implementation. My goal is to produce timeless, sophisticated homes that suit the personality of my client and the site.

Background:  I believe in solid training. I began my career by completing a five-year fine arts degree in Interior Design from the University of Washington, followed by 10 years of working for architectural and interior design firms. I understand scale and proportion, as well as process, and have a solid understanding of construction documents.

What I Offer:  I specialize in residential remodels with an emphasis on space planning, kitchen remodels, custom cabinetry, fixtures and finishes. I provide construction documents, including cabinetry drawings, interior and exterior elevations, lighting and furniture plans, and finish specifications. I collaborate with architects, engineers and contractors and provide project management services.
